Established in 2005, Chris has coached a number of athletes and teams around the northwest assisting them to success in their chosen sport or discipline. As a strength and conditioning coach, the aim is simple; to improve athlete's physical effectiveness. Innovative methods have evolved in time with sport science - physiology, biomechanics and psychology, are used to the maximum effect. So whether you are a beginner to exercise, or you have gold medal aspirations, we are sure to have your needs covered.
High standards of education is key in our excellent practice, with training from some of the best providers around. Edge Hill University, Focus Training, Liverpool John Moore's University, the UK Strength and Conditioning Association, British Weight Lifting are some of the learning providers we have benefited from. Also, during your sessions with us, you will be coached effectively, getting educated as to how to get the most from your own body, achieving your goals. My focus is on biomechanics and therefore will be looking at all things movement related. Kinematics is the way in which the body moves, whether this is seen as a 'normal' movement or not. From here we would investigate the kinesiology and look at the reason why a person moves in such a way, namely the anatomy surrounding the movement and looking at initiators of movement and the fixators and prime movers in an exercise.
